The Future Humans Trilogy, written by Anneloes Smitsman and Jean Huston, tells the story of the journey to the new civilisation in a narrative tale. The first book, The Quest of Rose, won the 2022 Silver Nautilus Book Award in the Personal Growth category. The second book is The Return of the Avatar.

There is a computer game in the first book: ‘You are on another planet in another galaxy and are told: ‘Earth desperately needs your help. Your mind will be wiped, and you’ll be parachuted into Earth and know no one. You will face many challenges, meet like-minded souls and discover your purpose. Are you in or out?’
