Dr Larry Dossey

In his book One Mind, Larry Dossey acknowledges that coyotes visited him for the first time in twenty years in the foothills of Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico.
‘I would look up from my computer to see one, two or three coyotes peering at me through the window of my study. I had the feeling they were curious about the manuscript and were making sure I got it right. After a few eye-to-eye moments, they would amble off.’
'A breathtakingly beautiful bobcat appeared one cold snowy day just outside my window while I was writing. He plopped down, groomed himself, and looked things over for nearly an hour. Another never-before happening.’
’I think these creatures have appeared as ambassadors from the greater web of life. They have come calling to remind me that they too, are part of the One Mind and that they don’t want to be left out.’ I feel that they are signalling for me to acknowledge and extend gratitude to all sentient creatures.''
‘And so I do.’
Dossey Marshall's evidence shows that consciousness is not created by the brain but is the foundation for all that exists. We are not separate beings whose brains create consciousness, but consciousness is the ground of being of which we are a part, so we are connected to everything else. The non-local mind (which Dossey introduced in 1989), is the One Mind.
Dossey marshals his evidence in 29 short chapters divided into four parts: Glimpses of the One Mind, Working with the One Mind, Accessing the One Mind, and The Way Forward.
He examines a wide range of psi phenomena and provides references for telepathic communication, clairvoyance and remote sensing, premonition and precognition, animal ESP, psychokinesis, psychic healing, out-of-body experiences (OBEs), near-Death Experiences (NDEs), survival after death, and reincarnation—children who remember past lives.
