Ian Stevenson’s 1987 book Children Who Remember Past Lives: A Question of Reincarnation was an eye-opener.

Reincarnation is a part of many religions: Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism. In his book, Stevenson investigates children’s claims, and some produced striking photographic evidence. For example, one child knew he had been murdered and who the culprit was. He took them to where his body was buried. In another, the child had scars on his body that exactly matched the gunshot wounds of his former self.

I have a friend who knew from the moment she was pregnant that she’d have a girl with blue eyes, blonde hair and a powerful personality. Before she was ten years old, she was asking teachers why she needed to learn this stuff, and what use it would be to her.
