Mysticism is a spiritual philosophy that seeks to transcend ordinary powers of comprehension into higher realms and communicate with the Source or God. The word originates from Greek “Mystikos” "secret, mystic, connected with the mysteries.” Although many associate Mysticism with the occult, occult means ‘hidden’.
