Leaps of Consciousness

The Three Principles

In 1973 Sydney Banks, a Scottish welder living in Canada, stood in his mother-in-law's sitting room on Salt Spring Island, near Vancouver, while his wife spoke to her mother in the kitchen.

Suddenly, he found himself encased in white light. Within a week he had the wisdom of the ages. His mental anguish stopped, and he became transformed. Elsie Spittle, a long-time friend, recounted how she couldn’t understand what he said for a year.

His spontaneous spiritual awakening changed his life. People started coming to visit and had profound experiences to recover their mental health and peace of mind.

He often marvelled ‘Why me?’ He had left school at 15 and had only read three books in his life. They were all welding manuals.

He taught the Three Principles (3Ps) of Divine Mind, Divine Consciousness and Divine Thought around the world. This led to innovations in psychiatry, psychology, education and business. He wrote several books, and many of his recordings are available on CD’s and on the Internet.

The 3Ps are the simplest and most profound way to peace of mind I’ve encountered. They can change the world.

‘One thought’ enlightened Syd.

How did that happen?

Imagine your ego as an inverted pyramid. It, also the busy or monkey mind, contains all the negative beliefs we have about ourselves and the world. These ‘erroneous beliefs believed to be true’ helped us survive at the time - when we were young - but no longer serve us. Imagine there is one ‘big’ thought that supports all the others at the base of the inverted pyramid.

If we have 'one thought' that shows that be-lie-f is not true, all the other erroneous thoughts above immediately dissolve, and we are spontaneously enlightened. It can also happen more slowly one thought at a time, in a top-down direction.

Beauty lies in that ‘there’s nothing to do.’

Simply reading, watching videos, listening to recordings or attending live events, we gain insights that clear false be-lie-fs, and we take another step to wholeness and pure thought.
