Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is ‘careful thinking directed to a goal.’ It shows how to question authoritative statements and come to one’s own conclusions.

This is probably why it isn’t taught at school. I don’t recall being taught critical thinking, only memorising and regurgitating. Would you teach a slave how to free him/herself?
