Leaps of Consciousness

Indigenous cultures have used herbal medicine to cure illnesses since the dawn of our species. The pharmaceutical industry exploits the individual active compounds in plants and synthesises them on production lines but has failed to deliver effective cures for many diseases.

How do plants heal? Are they conscious so they know what to do?

On a course, Eliot Cowan explained that the healer connects to one plant which knows what you need and connects to the spirits of other plants to provide them.

Plants have all five of our senses and maybe even more. Stefano Manusco’s video below shows a bean plant first sensing a nearby pole to grow up, then progressively circling it and subsequently lassoing it with a tendril to commence its skywards climb.
