Germ vs Terrain Theory

Terrain and Germ Theory are two opposing models of disease developed in mid nineteenth century France by two contempories: Germ Theory by Louis Pasteur and Terrain Theory by Antoine Béchamp.

What’s Germ Theory?

In Germ Theory, a microbe in the air, food, or water causes illness, so killing it heals the patient. If the germs are outside the body, use disinfectants; if they are inside the body, use a variety of medications like antibiotics (anti-life), antivirals, antifungals and vaccines.

Germs are a huge business opportunity because a different microbe for every illness means: 'One pill for every ill'. Most research is focused on finding the right pill for a specific disease.

Pasteur is known as the father of immunology and for pasteurisation. He was well-connected politically and knew Emperor Napoleon III. He laid the foundation for today’s pharmaceutical companies, surgery, radiation, synthetic drugs, chemotherapy and vaccines, generally known as cut, burn, poison. Most research is focused on finding the right pill for a specific disease.

Germ theory also removes responsibility from the individual. If the germ is in the air, food or water, someone else must remove it.

There is evidence Germ Theory has been known not to work for a long time:

  • In 1918, Prof Rosenau’s experiment failed to infect any volunteers with a ‘highly infectious’ influenza ‘germ’.
  • Sir Alfred Russel Wallace’s 1889 book Vaccination Proved Useless and Dangerous is based on an analysis of 45 years of statistics.
  • The increasing number of illnesses worldwide, especially in America, shows this theory doesn’t work. This is why an ever-increasing number turn to Eastern medicine and Terrain Theory.

    What’s Terrain Theory?

The terrain is the body’s internal eco and immune systems: the endocrine system controls and regulates bodily functions with hormones, and the immune system maintains homeostasis (internal balance) between internal and external threats.

When these are weakened “whether due to poor nutrition, toxicity or other factors, it changes the function of the microbes that are naturally present in the body, producing disease. In other words, micro-organisms only become pathogenic after environmental factors cause the host’s cellular “terrain” to deteriorate.”

Béchamp’s various discoveries led him to conclude that our bodies are, in effect, “mini-ecosystems.”

The environmental factors that can create imbalance include our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, and the environment in which we live. This includes poor nutrition, EMF radiation, toxic social media, chemicals or stress - the body’s cells can’t function properly and create disease.

Terrain Theory suggests that the existing medical model is invalid. New Biology suggests there is an alternative holistic approach.
