Sacred Geometry
Sacred Geometry studies the spiritual meaning of shapes.
Nature uses sacred geometry everywhere: the fractals in a fern leaf and the motions of the planets. The same rules apply at any scale: “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul”. Hermes Trismegistus.

It can be applied to the forms, numbers, and patterns seen throughout the natural world as well as architecture. Chartres Cathedral is a particularly well-known example.
