Leaps of Consciousness

Indigenous Wisdom

“The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within the souls of people when they realise their relationship, their oneness with the universe and all its powers, and when they realise that at the centre of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this centre is really everywhere, it is within each of us.” Black Elk, Lakota Medicine Man

Indigenous peoples have retained their ancient wisdom and connection to nature despite cultural genocide over hundreds of years.

Much of their wisdom has been retained, and more is being discovered as ancient prophecies come true, such as the Hopi prophecy below.

The invading ‘colonisers’ (an inversion of ‘pirates’) systematically seized their lands, murdered, kidnapped and starved the people to asset strip their resources and rewrite history to suit their purposes.

Columbus did not ‘discover’ America. There were about 20 million native Americans already living on the continent in a vast network of tribes. There is also evidence of ancient civilisations that have been erased, excluded or ignored from the history books.

Indeed, there is evidence that early settlers met indigenous Americans in the upper Missouri who spoke Welsh. King Arthur II of Glamorgan and Gwent sailed to America in the late 580s AD. - see Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett’s books.

The map below shows how many tribes were in California. Some of the neighbouring languages were so different from each other, they couldn't comprehend one another.
