Leaps of Consciousness

Corporations fund academic research to get the results they want.

In medicine, they tend to bury negative and publish favourable research. Nature’s free remedies are not part of their profit plan. They need patentable medicines for profit. The corporations encourage politicians to pass favourable laws to buy the products the corporations have patented.

However, this state of affairs has been going on so long, the veracity of published research is no longer so trustworthy:
