Western - Allopathic

Western medicine is allopathic. It treats diseases caused by microorganisms that invade the physical body. These microorganisms are too small to be seen without a microscope. Diseases are seen as the ‘enemy,’ and drugs and surgical procedures are designed to kill or remove their effects.
The treatment methods can be summarised as ‘cut, burn, poison.’ However, this is not to take away any of the extraordinary accomplishments of allopathic medicine.
Louis Pasteur founded immunology by developing a vaccine against fowl cholera. He became famous for his vaccine against rabies.
