Unlucky 13

What if 13 is a lucky number?
Instead of the irregular Gregorian calendar of 12 months of 28/29, 30 or 31 days, why not have 13 months of 28 days and follow nature's rhythmn? There are 13 moons in a solar year. This is a natural fit for agrarian people.
Many ancient cultures followed moon-based lunar calendars, such as the Mayans and Lakota. These calendars are far more logical and simplify business and planning. Kodak used them from 1892 until 1989.
Pope Gregory created the Gregorian calendar in a Papal Bull in 1572. By 1600, the 12-month year and 60-minute hour were standard.
The irregularity is part of the design. It creates disharmony and disconnects people from nature’s natural rhythms, and stops people from looking inwards.
Could the same thing apply to 12 hours a day and the 12 constellations? If you include the centre - the missing ‘I’ - we get 13 again.
